Summary:
|
The development of the 2025-2026 District Calendar began this past fall, led by a district committee that included classified, certificated, and management employees and the School Liaison Officer from Fort Irwin.
The proposed start date for the upcoming school year is August 7, 2025, and the last day is set for May 22, 2026. Early Out Wednesdays will continue as Professional Learning Community (PLC) Days for grades TK-12, as noted on the proposed calendar, along with the required additional ELOP days.
Key features of this calendar include:
* Four minimum days following the first trimester for grades TK-5 and the first quarter for grades 6-8, and five minimum days after the second trimester for grades TK-5 and the third quarter for grades 6-8, reserved for parent-teacher conferences.
*The last three days of the school year are minimum days for all TK-12 grades to allow staff time for grading, classroom cleanup, and end-of-year check-out procedures.
