January has come to be acknowledged as California School Board Recognition Month to emphasize the commitment to public service shown by those who serve as trustees for local school systems. These leaders serve the interests of students, ensuring educational programs that build in students a solid foundation for the future. We are pleased and proud to salute the elected Board members who serve the students of Silver Valley Unified School District.
School Board members, as elected community leaders, deserve recognition and thanks for their countless hours of service to the students of California's public schools.
