Summary:
|
The district has worked in the past with both SVEA and CSEA to hold a reception for employees who have worked for Silver Valley Unified School District and are retiring.
The reception is an opportunity for staff from all sites to come together and honor these employees who have devoted so many years to the education of our students. Employees who have been employed with the district for ten years or more will receive a Golden Bell engraved with their name, the district's name, and the years of service with Silver Valley USD.
The reception is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., location to be determined.

Funding:

The cost is shared between SVEA, CSEA and the district, generally not exceeding approximately $100 for each organization.
|

Recommendation:
|
It is recommended that the Governing Board of Trustees approve to hold the reception for retiring employees on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. and to cover all related expenses shared between SVEA, CSEA and the District.
