Summary:
|
Due to national security concerns in the Public K-12 arena, Silver Valley USD has implemented new security procedures and protocols. Part of our new protocols is to ensure that all campus doors are locked. This includes main traffic areas such as office doors.
To aid in the visibility of public entry points, a video door camera will be installed. This will give office staff access to view who is at the door, and to make a determination for access. Cameras offer a level of security and safety.
There are a total of 14 doors, district-wide that will have the video door camera installed.
Cornerstone Construction has been selected to do the work on a time and material basis, utilizing a not to exceed purchase order.
