Summary:
|
Each year, departments of teachers convene to review and evaluate the effectiveness of the course offerings and master schedules at the high schools. With the leadership of the principal at Silver Valley High School, department chairs and teachers submit for review to the Governing Board proposals for new course offerings.
Courses offered by schools within the district must be approved by the Governing Board. Because of the change to standards-based course descriptions, ongoing courses and new courses must be adopted and readopted by the Board.
In addition, each year the Silver Valley High School submits its course offerings to the Governing Board for approval. The course offerings presented here reflect all courses that may be offered during the 2022-23 school year.
