Summary:
|
The Educator Effectiveness Block Grant allocates funds to school districts to provide professional development for certificated teachers, administrators, paraprofessional educators, and certificated staff. These funds are based on the number of full time employees in the district as reported in CALPADS and CBEDS during the 2020-21 school year. Funds may be expended during the 2021–22, 2022–23, 2023–24, 2024–25 and 2025–26 fiscal years. The local plan for the Educator Effectiveness funds (EEF) needs to be heard in a public meeting of the governing board of the school district before its adoption in a subsequent public meeting on or before December 30, 2021.
