Summary:
|
The Silver Valley High School is participating in a grass reduction effort. The local water agency, Mojave Water Agency has granted Silver Valley USD a $1 per square foot of grass removed. This is part of the areas water conservation efforts to reduce our areas water usage.
We are proposing to remove the 80,000 square feet of grass in between and around the softball fields. This project will compliment the Sports Field Turf Renovation project currently underway.
All grass removed will be replaced with DG rock fines. The grade will be set, composite and concrete borders will be installed to delineate the fields and other areas. A rock drainage system will be installed for water run off and capture.

Operations Funds: $167,400, plus Performance and Payment Bond of $6500.00
Mojave Water Agency Cash for Grass Reimbursement, est: $80,000.00
