Summary:
|
Silver Valley USD is making great progress in the continuing maintenance of our schools. The Alternative Education Center is due for some trim, door and window frame paint. Over the past several years, the harsh desert climate decays and fades paint. We are looking to repaint the existing trim, doors, and window frames with new paint. New door numbers will be placed back on doors.
Yermo School is also in need of paint under some existing parts of the breezeway areas and under the roof areas along classrooms 10 thru 13. Over the years, the breezeway roofs have leaked, and water blown up from the sprinklers have taken its toll on the paint and surfaces in these areas. Short term, the leaks have been repaired, and watering issues have been remediated with the new landscaping work.

AEC Paint Work- Operations/Adult Ed Funds: $58,050.00 plus 3% Performance & Payment Bonds.
Yermo School Paint Work- Operations Funds: $23,500.00.

It is recommended that the Governing Board of Trustees approve the paint work at the Alternative Education Center and Yermo School with Paint & Decor.
