Summary:
|
The California Department of Education(CDE) requires school districts to offer an Expanded Learning Opportunities Program for all TK-6th grade students. CDE allows school districts to partner with third-party organizations to assist in operating their ELOP program. Silver Valley USD is proposing to have the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFWMR) Child Youth Services (CYS) located at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, operate the ELOP program for the TK-6th grade students residing on base.
