Public School Board Meetings Public Participation Community members wishing to address the Board must complete a "Speaker Request Form" and submit it to the recording secretary before the meeting starts. Each speaker is allowed up to three minutes per agenda or non-agenda item, with a total public comment period of 20 minutes. The Board President may adjust time limits based on the topic and number of speakers. Meeting Conduct and Order Board meetings are held to conduct district business. Public input is welcome; however, discussions between the public, staff, or Board members will not take place during the meeting. The Board President ensures order and may take necessary action if disruptions occur. Accessibility and Accommodations In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), those requiring special accommodations, modifications, or alternative formats of agenda materials should contact the Superintendent’s office at (760) 254-2916 at least 72 hours before the meeting to ensure reasonable arrangements.
