Summary:
|
To meet the attendance requirements for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, an additional 30 days will need to be included along with the 180 days of school.
After review of the 2023-24 District calendar, it was decided to include the first five days of winter break, December 17-22, 2023; the five days of Spring break, March 17-22, 2024; and the twenty days during summer break, May 29 - June 26, 2024.
The days in summer will coincide with our Summer School/Extended School Year program.
In addition, it is recommended that the Wednesday before Winter Break, December 13, 2023, be adjusted to a minimum day schedule from a full day schedule to avoid confusion for staff, students, and parents/guardians. |
