Summary:
|
Newberry Elementary School is home to many trees that provide an appealing aesthetic to the school's landscape. However, some of these trees are very old and have reached the end of their life cycle, or have been affected by disease and tree rot. To ensure the safety of our students, staff, and facilities, it is necessary to remove trees that are a potential hazard. Currently, there are four trees that will be removed and three trees that will be trimmed. Two of the trees that will be removed are located in the front parking area, one tree is located in the courtyard near room 5, and one tree is located near the basketball courts. Mason's Treescape is a certified arborist and has given their recommendation for the removal of these trees based on tree rot, age, and the potential hazard they pose. |
